“Tess” is the heart of our program and the dog who started it all. She’s very versatile - titled in both HRC and AKC hunt tests, as well as AKC field trials. Tess is biddable, focused, a strong marker, and naturally watery, with a sweet, steady temperament that makes her a joy to train and live with. In the off-season, she joins us in South Dakota for pheasants and in Canada for ducks and geese. She consistently passes her best qualities on to her offspring - many of whom have gone on to title in field events and companion sports. We’re proud that she has earned the Outstanding Dam (OD) title from the Golden Retriever Club of America.

Wren fits the phrase “good things come in small packages.” At just 50 pounds, she’s athletic, eager to please, a strong marker, and naturally watery. She brings a ton of drive and personality — a true spitfire in the field and at home. Like the rest of our crew, she joins us each fall for pheasant hunting in South Dakota and waterfowl trips to Canada. A granddaughter of Stanley Steamer and Flash, we’re excited about Wren’s pedigree and can’t wait to see the talented pups she’ll produce.
