Granite Rock Puppies

We occasionally have litters from select, health-tested pairings. Our goal is to produce healthy, versatile Golden Retrievers with great temperaments, strong work ethic, and natural talent — dogs that thrive in the field and at home.

Most of our puppies are placed in competition or hunting homes, and every breeding is planned with both performance and disposition in mind.

Upcoming Litters

We’re excited to announce a planned repeat breeding between Tess and Angus — a pairing that previously produced talented, biddable pups with excellent structure and trainability. If you're looking for a puppy with the potential to excel in the field and be a steady family companion, this is one to watch.

How We Raise
Our Puppies

Our puppies are raised in our home with continuous attention and care. From day three to sixteen, we implement Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) to support early development.

As they grow, puppies are introduced to a wide variety of sights, sounds, textures, and enrichment toys to help build confidence and curiosity. They spend time exploring the outdoors and are well-socialized with people and new environments.

Puppies are dewormed regularly, have their dewclaws removed, are microchipped, and receive their first vaccinations and a full veterinary exam at six weeks. We welcome families to visit after four weeks of age, and puppies are ready to go home at seven weeks.

Health &
Peace of Mind

At Granite Rock Retrievers, we are committed to producing dogs that align with the Golden Retriever Club of America's (GRCA) Code of Ethics. All of our breeding dogs are temperamentally sound and structurally correct. Each dog has completed the GRCA-recommended health screenings, including clearances for hips, elbows, eyes, and heart, with results publicly available in the OFA database. We also use appropriate DNA testing to eliminate the risk of inherited diseases. Our goal is to produce puppies that are not only healthy and talented, but also stable, trainable, and a joy to live with.
